Our story
Port Hotel is a sea-facing Victorian conversion that’s been lovingly restored, situated on Eastbourne’s beachfront parade, East Sussex. The building has been brought back to life with 19 beautiful guest rooms and a bar, a relaxed restaurant and a stunning outdoor terrace on the ground floor, which is also open to the public.
Brunch & dinner
Port Eastbourne has a large and inviting living–restaurant–bar–reception with comfy seating for 50+ guests, a cosy fireplace, reading nooks and workspaces. A welcoming outdoor terrace – usually a suntrap – overlooks the English Channel.
Our boutique rooms
Six of our boutique bedrooms overlook the beach and Eastbourne Pier, while ten bedrooms have views towards the town and The South Downs. Three of the larger rooms are located on the lower ground floor and are well suited to families or friends, or for guests with dogs. Port Eastbourne does not have a lift, but our team will always assist you with luggage.
Port & sustainability
At Port, we care deeply about the environment and our local community. These principles are always at the forefront of how we operate and engage with our guests.
Cocktails
The Port Lunar Bar is stocked full with fantastic local artisanal producers. Whether your tipple of choice is a Whisky Sour, Espresso Martini or our Port Signature Cocktail, our mixologist is ready to make and shake the most delicious cocktails for you. We also have an inviting array of Sussex wines, craft beers and ales to choose from. Enjoy!
The basics done brilliantly
Port strives to get the essentials spot on – a totally restful sleep, a bath that’s refreshing and relaxing, food that’s comforting, nutritious and honest. Hospitality that’s genuine and serendipitous.
