Accessibility
At Port Hotel Eastbourne we are committed to providing the highest standards of service and treat all our guests as individuals. Much of the charm of our hotel is due to the age of the buildings and this does mean that access to all areas is restricted.
We also recognise that other important legal obligations exist in relation to all our guests, visitors and employees, particularly in the area of health and safety. We are mindful of the fact that our hotel is a historic building and as such is subject to strict planning regulations. We will always aim to strike an appropriate balance between safeguarding the integrity of our architectural heritage and delivering an accessible and, above all, safe, environment in which to welcome our guests and visitors.
As part of our commitment, we seek to ensure that disabled guests are treated no less favourably than others and that reasonable adjustments are made where appropriate and possible, by way of sensitive and creative solutions that address barriers to access.
The hotel has 5 levels and we do not have a lift. However, we do have lower ground and first-floor bedrooms to make access easier and will always be on hand to help as required. Please advise us of any accessibility concerns at the time of booking and we will do our best to find a solution.
Please note that whilst there is on street parking directly outside the hotel, there is not a disabled parking space nearby and we cannot reserve spaces.
