The fourth and final ‘Cocktails and Collage’ evening takes place on Wednesday 10th January at Port Hotel with artist Maja Jones.

Have you ever considered unveiling a hidden part of your life or showcasing something you don't typically find in galleries? Join Maya for her final Cocktails & Collage evening themed around Turner Prize nominations - ‘Beauty Of The Unseen - Assembling The Overlooked and Unexpected.’

This session will be a bit different with an exciting focus on 3D collage - dive into the art of assemblage, creating mini sculptures and everyday items that are often overlooked in galleries but integral to our daily lives.

Inspired by Ghislaine Leung’s 'Fountains' at Towner, known for its warm, humorous, and transcendental qualities challenging art norms, let's craft pieces that break free from expectations. Consider the unnoticed or unseen in your surroundings. Is your piece a celebration of the overlooked, a personal ode to the unseen aspects of your life or life in general, or a commentary on the struggle between perfectionism and raw authenticity?

As we conclude these sessions, let's focus on play, experimentation, and good company with a cocktail or two in the laid-back surroundings of Port Hotel.
